SUMMIT CHRISTIAN CENTER SELECTS TWO FOR-A SWITCHERS FOR NEW WORSHIP FACILITY

Services to be televised nationally on Trinity Broadcasting Network

CYPRESS, CA– San Antonio, Tex.-based Summit Christian Center (SCC) has recently installed an array of FOR-A products in its new worship facility, including two FOR-A HANABI switchers, an HVS-1500HS 1.5 M/E switcher and an HVS-600HS 1 M/E switcher, to serve at the heart of the facility’s video production system.

Five worship services are produced every weekend with contemporary live music. The church also schedules a variety of creative performances and pieces to coincide with holidays and special events. SCC began holding worship services in its new 2,500-seat facility in June 2008, and future plans include an expansion to seat 5,000 congregants.

At the church’s previous location, video production was limited with a four-channel composite switcher. According to Nathan Roberts, SCC technical director, the switcher upgrades were necessary because the church will be recording worship services for broadcast more

Christopher Landy Of Vibrant Design Lights MTV’s New Pop-Culture Show, “It’s On With Alexa Chung”

AlexaVibrant Design’s Christopher Landy gave a contemporary, lower Manhattan loft look to the lighting design for MTV’s new “”It’s On With Alexa Chung” which airs at weekdays at noon. The pop culture show, hosted by the British model of the same name, mixes celebrity talk and music with online interaction with viewers. Soundcraft Vi6 For Brian Eno’s Apollo 11 Live

Former Roxy Music member Brian Eno celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, by introducing the first of two live performances of his 1983 composition Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks in the IMAX Cinema at the Science Museum in London.

Mark Hornsby’s company Headtec were appointed by the Science Museum to provide the sound, and Icebreaker’s FOH sound engineer Alexander Bossew requisitioned a Soundcraft Vi6 digital console as his first choice.

Electronic Design Company Gives Minnetonka Arts Center a NEXO Facelift

BUENA PARK, Calif.⎯Minnetonka’s Arts Center on 7 has a new look and a new speaker system thanks to Electronic Design Company (EDC) of Shoreview, Minnesota.
