BUENA PARK, Calif.⎯Austin Ridge Bible Church in Austin, Texas, who took its name from the beautiful ridge it sits upon, has a ministry goal to facilitate worship in weekly gatherings on Sunday morning, and to equip its congregation to become lifestyle worshippers, not just on Sunday, but 24/7.

The church, which seats 750, recently hired Ford Audio-Video Systems, Inc. (Ford AV) to replace its existing speaker system with a NEXO GEO S 12 Series line array. Six NEXO GEO S1210s and two GEO S1230s were chosen along with two NXAMP 4×4 amps and two ALS2-PF subwoofers.

“We decided to install the NEXO system due to its reputation in the industry and price point,� states Jeff Neidel, Senior Account Manager, Ford AV. Neidel said they also installed a BSS BLU16-8X8 AV, 8X8 DSP processor and Middle Atlantic SR-40-22 Rack, and used a combination of Belden and West Penn wiring for the new system.

“I was amazed at the difference in the sound compared to the old system,â€? said church member Michael DaSilva. “From the minute I walked in the doors I could tell it was like night and day. The sound was much cleaner and clearer without being overly loud. And when no one was talking, you couldn’t hear the humming sound that you usually hear when a system is on. I was very impressed the first week, and I continue to notice the difference week after week!â€?
