HaiVision Launches Middle East Operations; Opening a New Office in Dubai Media City
MONTREAL and CHICAGO — Oct. 16, 2009 — HaiVision Network Video today announced it is establishing a direct presence in Dubai, U.A.E., appointing Mohammed Ghafari as vice president of Middle East operations. Ghafari brings more than two decades of success and experience in the telecommunications and IT industry. In his new role, he will address the extremely high demand for HaiVision’s advanced video networking technology and IPTV solutions throughout the region.

Prior to joining HaiVision, Ghafari most recently served as regional director of Convergys Corporation. His extensive experience working with global corporations includes roles as executive director, Middle East, for Lucent Technologies, and as director of business development for General Datacom Multimedia and CTI Datacomm, a leading Canadian firm in networking solutions. Ghafari started his career at IBM Corporation. He holds a bachelors degree in computer science with honors from Leeds University of England.
