SYMETRIX ADDS SECOND MONTHLY ONLINE ‘WEBINAR’

symetrix_webinars.JPGSEATTLE, WASHINGTON – NOVEMBER 2009: Symetrix, a leading provider of audio processing solutions for the commercial, broadcast, and pro audio markets through its Symetrix, SymNet, AirTools, and Lucid brands, will now host two freely-available “Webinars” a month. Senior systems support engineer Ryan Curtright has been hosting Webinar Master Classes once a month for nearly a year on advanced aspects of SymNet, Integrator Series, and AirTools technology. On November 11th, systems support engineer Mark Ullrich will kick off his monthly Webinar Master Class, with content geared toward professionals who are new to Symetrix products. To receive the link to attend, contact Symetrix tech support.

Many of Curtright’s classes have addressed advanced topics of interest to SymNet users who are already familiar with its infrastructure. For example, topics covered in Curtright’s last Webinar included “remote servicing and monitoring of 31 rings of SymNet over WAN,” “DTMF decoders,” and “8 BGM combiner modules.” However, as more professionals recognize the advantages of SymNet, Integrator Series, and other Symetrix products, there is a growing need for similar training at a more basic level. By comparison, Ullrich’s first Webinar will cover such topics as “SymLink vs. CobraNet,” “RS-232 communication,” and “cabling requirements.”

“At Symetrix, we strive to offer the most comprehensive training options in our industry,” said Paul Roberts, director of sales and marketing. “The Webinars are part of our ‘Syminar’ total training solution that offers self-paced online training, customized online training (Hosted Syminars), topic-based online training (Master Classes), and in-person training seminars. We are pleased to continue adding more ways to learn about our system of solutions with a second monthly online Webinar Master Class.”

Interested participants can obtain a link to attend a Webinar by contacting Symetrix tech support [tech@symetrixaudio.com], or by contacting Ryan Curtright [rcurtright@symetrixaudio.com] or Mark Ullrich [mullrich@symetrixaudio.com]. Past sessions are archived and freely available at: http://www.symnetaudio.com/index.php?Show=468.
