AUDIO EXPO OF NORTH AMERICA (AXPONA) Sells Out Exhibition Space on Main Convention Floor
Excitement Builds as New Consumer Audio Show Passes Milestone, and More A/V Dealers, Manufacturers, Distributors and Music Vendors Prepare Exhibits
JACKSONVILLE, FL, Nov. 24, 2009 — AUDIO EXPO OF NORTH AMERICA (AXPONA), an important, emerging forum for showcasing the newest in audio products and technologies, equipment and supporting media, announced it has sold out available exhibition space on the main convention floor, as momentum builds toward a highly successful inaugural event March 5-7, 2010, at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida.
The new consumer show, sponsored by Stereophile magazine, passed an important milestone as its main floor filled with manufacturers of high-performance audio components and related companies. The show’s remaining spaces are also continuing to sell quickly, and only a limited number of Premium Suites remain available — 6 Regular and 3 Master Suites. In addition, the show is gaining new exhibitors at the rate of about one vendor per day for the spaces still to be occupied.
More than 80 high-end A/V dealers, manufacturers and distributors representing more than 120 equipment brands are already committed to exhibiting their high-performance products. Visitors to the show’s Web site at www.axpona.com will notice many recently added participants on the expanding Exhibitor List, including important American manufacturers, audio specialists and media suppliers.
AXPONA is the first consumer audio show on the East Coast in several years. Its focus on high-end playback equipment plus related products and media gives audio enthusiasts a rare opportunity to mingle freely with the industry’s top manufacturers and retailers, while enjoying live demonstrations of equipment and software. They will be able to see hundreds of products and brands, listen to many, and learn about the latest technologies, especially ones for streaming audio, downloads, storage and playback applications.
Trade Hours – With many editors from major print and Web media also attending, AXPONA has set aside two blocks of Trade Hours exclusively for the press — a five-hour block, 8 a.m. to 1 PM, on the show’s opening day, Friday, Mar. 5, and two-hours, 8 to 10 a.m., on the second day, Saturday, Mar. 6. The Trade Hours provide an important opportunity for the media to examine the new products and technologies and meet with manufacturers and experts before the doors are thrown open to the general public.
