SOLID STATE LOGIC C100 HD-S DIGITAL BROADCAST CONSOLE INSTALLED AT WHBQ-TV
C100 Used for Live News and Local Programming
MEMPHIS, TN – Solid State Logic has completed the installation of a new C100 HD-S Digital Broadcast Console for WHBQ-TV, a station owned and operated by Fox Broadcasting Company. The station began broadcasting its local newscasts in high definition in June of 2009 necessitating the move to an HD capable audio console. WHBQ broadcasts a total of 36½ hours of local news a week, with 7½ hours on weekdays, two hours on Saturdays and one hour on Sundays – more than any other television station in the State of Tennessee. The C100 HD-S, with its advanced feature set tailored for live broadcast operation, rock solid reliability and deft handling of network 5.1 surround, brings WHBQ-TV in line with the HD future.
