Process, switch, warp and blend with Calibre at Integrated Systems Europe 2010
New HQView range addresses modern multi-image display needs without compromise
Bradford, UK, 7 December 2009 – Combining the power of Reon™ video processing from IDT with state-of-the-art HQV™ algorithims and expertly designed hardware and firmware from Calibre, the new HQView range of video scaler-switchers offers stunning image quality and a high degree of flexibility for corporate AV, professional and broadcast applications.
Comprising eight different compact or IU rack mountable and affordable models the HQView line-up offers the integrator a wide range of input types and configurations, ranging from component and composite/YC to 3G-SDI and with output resolution up to 1080p/WUXGA over DVI/HDMI. Customers can select between operating in low-latency or highest image-quality modes, with Picture-In-Picture (PIP), Picture-and-Picture (PAP) and Picture-on-Picture (POP) output all possible.
Commenting on the launch of HQView at ISE 2010, Tim Brooksbank, CEO of Calibre, says: “From simple format conversion at the start of the range through to the full warp mapping and soft-edge seamless blending of multiple projected images offered by the most sophisticated models, the HQView line has an answer to almost every AV integrator’s image processing need. They are exactly what the AV industry has been asking us for – easy to specify, install and use, highly flexible, and capable of performing some very sophisticated image processing tasks with the minimum of drama.
Calibre will be exhibiting in the UK Pavilion on Stand IG99 at ISE 2010 and will be actively seeking European distribution partners for the HQView range.
