Wohler Names Diginet Distributor for Belgian Market

HAYWARD, Calif. — Dec. 7, 2009 — Wohler Technologies Inc. today announced that systems integrator Diginet will be representing Wohler monitors within the Belgian broadcast market, providing the region with complete sales and support services for the full Wohler product line of audio and video monitors. Diginet already has completed the first sale and deployment of the Wohler 3G- and Dolby®-capable monitor, the AMP1-16-3G, for Belgium’s Flemish Radio and Television Network (VRT), the public broadcasting network of the Flemish community.

“We’re committed to providing our customers with convenient, cost-effective monitoring solutions that meet a high standard for performance, functionality, and utility, and products in the Wohler product line meet all those requirements,” said Bruno Van Hileghem, project manager at Diginet. “Our customers are looking for ways to maximize efficiency within multichannel production and broadcast environments, and Wohler’s comprehensive offering supplies a valuable combination of flexible metering parameters, easy-to-use interfaces, support for surround sound, and high-performance ‘green’ display technology.”

Since the company’s founding in 1996, Diginet has grown to become a major provider of technical solutions and professional equipment for Belgium’s broadcast, telecom, and security industries. The company comprises four divisions dedicated to video, connectivity, telecom, and security.

“Diginet is a trusted name across the Belgian broadcast industry, and we’re pleased to be working closely with the company as it provides customers with advanced monitoring systems, backed by exceptional technical support and service,” said Kim Templeman-Holmes, VP of global sales and marketing at Wohler.
