DANLEY SIGNS MITEK AND SOUND MISSION FOR DISTRIBUTION IN CANADA AND THE EU
GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA: Danley Sound Labs, home of world-renowned loudspeaker designer Tom Danley’s patented Synergy Horn (SH) loudspeakers and Tapped Horn (TH) subwoofers, announces the addition of two new international distributors to help keep pace with its rapidly expanding market. Mitek Canada will distribute Danley loudspeakers for houses of worship, commercial installations, and live venues to all points north of the continental U.S., while Sound Mission will do the same for Poland, Germany, and a growing list of other European Union countries.
Mitek Canada, one of the largest distributors of commercial and consumer electronics in Canada, provides a wide range of products to all retailers across the country, from national chains to single store specialists to integrators. It has representatives and trainers from coast to coast along with warehouses in both British Columbia and Ontario to provide its clients with timely service across the country. Sound Mission is fronted by veteran mix engineer Voytek Kochanek, a native of Poland, who has been working in the U.S. for over two decades. His tight connections in his home country and neighboring Germany will provide a ready conduit for Danley’s unique brand of sound reinforcement equipment.
Norm Ross, director of sales for Mitek Canada stated, “We work closely with engineers and consultants so our integration partners are able to work with the latest technology. Relationships with our resellers are of prime importance and customized training plays a big roll in our daily activities. Danley Sound Labs is perfect for us, the products are exceptional, and the line is poised to become a major brand in Canada.” Kochanek mirrored those sentiments, adding, “as someone who works with sound on a daily basis, I was deeply impressed with the Danley products the first time I heard them. This is a true revolution in loudspeaker technology, and we are excited to play a role in bringing it to the attention of audio professionals in Europe.”
“We’re happy to be partnering with Mitek Canada and Sound Mission,” said Mike Hedden of Danley Sound Labs. “Their enthusiasm for our product is obvious, and both companies bring a lot of muscle to their respective regions. As we have already seen Danley rise from regional to national prominence, this next phase in our growth – to the international arena – is very exciting!”
