New Products on Display at the 2010 NAMM Show:

P-3600 AR G Global Voltage Regulator
The Prestige Series P-3600 AR G is a 3RU power conditioner/True RMS voltage regulator that offers a one-of-a-kind power management solution for A/V professionals around the globe. The P-3600 AR G ensures stable 120V power delivery from any input voltage source between 100V to 127V or 208V to 240V. The unit provides connected 120V equipment with stable voltage, power protection, and AC line filtration, ideal for use with 120V A/V gear when traveling to countries with 100V, 220V, 230V, or 240V services.

The P-3600 AR G’s predecessor, the Furman AR-PRO, has been an indispensable product for many professional users. The updated model features Furman’s True RMS Regulation Technology (utilizing an ultra-low-noise torroidal isolation transformer/autoformer, high-current switching TRIACs, and micro-processing control) to step-down or step-up input voltages. The unit also offers Furman’s exclusive LiFT/SMP/EVS technologies for professional-level protection and linear AC noise filtration.

These features, along with the P-3600 AR G’s 30A output capacity and wide input voltage capture range, make it a unique solution among other portable power conditioner/voltage regulators and a reliable, application-specific alternative to typical step-up/step-down transformers.

The P-3600 AR G will be available 2010.

P-1800 PF Power Conditioner
An update to Furman’s Power Factor Pro, the P-1800 PF is a floor version of the popular rackmount P-1800 PF R. Ideal for instrument amplifiers and guitar/bass heads, the P-1800 PF provides comprehensive protection with Furman’s exclusive Power Factor and Clear Tone Technologies for uncompromised performance from high-current gear. The P-1800 PF’s new design features a sleek black finish and high-current outlets for instantaneous, low-impedance current delivery. Its compact, rugged steel construction is ideal for stage or studio use.

Furman’s Power Factor Technology reduces AC line impedance by providing a 45A peak current reservoir. This gives instrument amplifiers and powered speakers the headroom to operate at maximum efficiency and sound consistent from venue to venue without being subjected to current compression caused by line impedance or resistance. Clear Tone Technology adds an additional level of linear filtration for a lower noise floor, allowing the instrument’s tone and character to be expressed without the masking effects of AC line noise.

The P-1800 PF features isolated outlet banks to minimize intercomponent interference, and offers Furman’s exclusive SMP/LiFT/EVS technologies for professional-level protection and linear AC noise filtration. The unit’s LED voltmeter displays the incoming line voltage, while Protection OK and Extreme Voltage indicators provide information on power quality and the operational status of the unit.

The P-1800 PF is available now at an MSRP of $479.

Also featured at the 2010 NAMM Show:

P-2400 IT Symmetrically Balanced Power Conditioner
Succeeding Furman’s IT-20 II balanced power conditioner is the P-2400 IT. The flagship product of Furman’s new Prestige Series, the P-2400 IT is a 20A rack-mountable symmetrically balanced power conditioner, providing unparalleled AC noise reduction and 100 percent isolation from the power grid for the lowest noise floor possible. The P-2400 IT features over 80 dB of common-mode and over 50 dB of differential-mode noise reduction ideal for recording, mastering, broadcast, or anywhere noise-free performance is critical. With 100 percent isolation from line, neutral, and ground, the P-2400 IT is also ideal for breaking AC ground loops without rewiring or hiring an electrician. The P-2400 IT provides Furman’s SMP/LiFT/EVS technologies for professional-level protection and linear noise filtration, a switchable front-panel digital voltmeter/ammeter with color-coded voltage range indicator for comprehensive power monitoring, and a front-panel USB charger for personal media devices and cell phones.

The P-2400 IT is available at an MSRP of $2799.

F1500-UPS Programmable True Sine Wave Uninterruptible Power Supply
The F1500-UPS is the first battery backup solution to feature Furman’s SMP/LiFT/EVS technologies for professional-level protection and linear AC noise filtration. The F1500-UPS provides 1500 VA of backup power (expandable via external battery pack BATT1500-EXT, sold separately) with true sine wave output, AVR voltage regulation, robust programmability options, IR control for safe shutdown of remote equipment, critical load management, and circuitry for optimized power consumption. With the addition of a BlueBOLT-CV1 interface card (available 2010) it is compatible with Panamax/Furman’s new BlueBOLT™ cloud-based remote power management platform for control and monitoring over the Internet.

The F1500-UPS is available now at an MSRP of $1499.

P-6900 AR E Voltage Regulator/Power Conditioner for 220V-240V Regions
Part of Furman’s Export Prestige Series, the P-6900 AR E provides voltage regulation, power protection, and filtration for A/V professionals in 220V-240V regions. The P-6900 AR E utilizes Furman’s exclusive True RMS Voltage Regulation Technology to provide stable voltage to connected equipment, along with Furman’s trusted SMP/LiFT/EVS technologies for professional-level protection and linear AC noise filtration.

At 30A capacity, the P-6900 AR E is ideal for large installations, sound reinforcement applications in which power amps are utilized, or any situation where voltage regulation with high current capacity is needed. The rear panel features a 30A C-Form inlet connector (with included female mating connector for termination of a custom line cord), one 30A C-Form outlet, two high-current IEC C-19 outlets, and six IEC C-13 outlets. Two IEC C-13 convenience outlets are located on the front panel.
