TV Magic Names Benito Behar Vice President of Sales

SAN DIEGO — Dec. 10, 2009 — Broadcast systems integrator TV Magic today announced the appointment of Benito Behar as the company’s vice president of sales. Behar has worked with TV Magic for more than two years, most recently serving as vice president of business development for Latin America, a role in which he oversaw significant growth of the company’s business in Mexico and other Latin American markets. In his new role, Behar will be responsible for sales across the company and its San Diego and Los Angeles offices. Behar will be based out of the company’s headquarters in San Diego.

“Through roles in project management, operations, sales, and business development, Benito has shown himself to be a strong leader, an astute strategist, and a very capable manager,” said Stephen D. Rosen, president of TV Magic. “He has been a valuable part of the TV Magic team since he first joined the company, and we’re very pleased to see him applying his skills and knowledge to broader leadership of our sales operations.”

Behar’s experience prior to joining TV Magic boasts a range of management experience in radio, television, and cable industries in both the United States and Mexico. He has led integration projects for clients including TV Azteca in Monterrey, Mexico; Universidad Iberoamericana in Tijuana; and Enlace in San Jose, Costa Rica. Earlier, as director of operations for Pacific Spanish Network, he was instrumental in the development and operation of the regional television network Tu Superestacion, which grew to achieve statewide distribution through strategic partnerships with regional cable companies. Within six months of taking leadership of TV Magic’s Latin America operations, Behar and his team had developed three substantial integration projects.

“TV Magic provides unparalleled design, engineering, installation, and support services as part of a carefully defined approach to systems integration, and I am very excited about the opportunity to contribute to the company’s further growth and leadership in its field,” said Behar. “It’s a pleasure working with my exceptional colleagues at TV Magic to help our clients achieve their goals, and I look forward to our continued success as a team.”
