Deur to focus on K-12 Education Market

AVI-SPL, the largest global integrator of audiovisual systems and services, today announced the addition of Vince Deur as education market manager in the Detroit office. Deur will specialize in the K-12 education market in western Michigan, with special emphasis in Smart Technology products.

“Vince brings a wealth of experience working closely with Michigan School Districts,� said Alan White, sales manager at AVI-SPL’s Detroit office. “We are excited about his talents and enthusiasm. Vince will be a wonderful asset to our education team.�

Prior to joining AVI-SPL, Deur was Owner/Producer of Vince Deur Productions, LLC. Deur has more than nine years of sales, educational AV consulting and production experience through his company. Before starting his own business, Deur spent eight years at the Grand Haven Area Public Schools as television station manager/ coordinator and as a high school media instructor. Deur has won several awards in the AV industry during his career, most notably the National School Public Relations Association Gold Medallion Award for the Grand Haven Area Public Schools PR packet including video, interactive CD-ROM and associated print materials.
