SMART Technologies Products on Display at AVI-SPL Booth

AVI-SPL, the largest global integrator of audiovisual systems and services, today announced it will exhibit at the Ohio Educational Technology Conference, which will be held Feb. 1-3 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Exhibiting at Booth 636, AVI-SPL will spotlight SMART Technologies products including the SMART Table, SMART Board, SMART Sympodium, SMART Document Camera, SMART Slate, SMART Classroom Suite software and SMART Response LE. Booth visitors can enter a drawing to win a SMART Slate WS-200. A SMART Certified trainer will also be on-site each day to answer questions about the products.

“The Ohio eTech conference allows us to meet with our customers and the end-users of the technology so that we can demonstrate both new products and also show them how it can be integrated with their existing classroom technology,� said Michael Blankenship, CTS, sales bid estimator at AVI-SPL. He continued, “Many clients picture their perfect classroom (technology) and how it should work, but are not sure of the best solution or how to connect the different pieces to make it work easily and seamlessly. That’s what we do.�

According to the eTech Ohio web site, the conference, themed “P-20 Conversations: Shaping a Path for the 21st Century Student,â€? will address the need to integrate technology throughout a student’s career. This year, eTech Ohio is collaborating with the Ohio Learning Network (OLN) to host more than 450 sessions and displays, 250 vendors and 6,000 participants.
