License Server

Stage Research has announced the debut of its License Server, a new product that allocates licenses on demand for network users. The software runs on a central computer (server) to manage concurrent use of any Stage Research product.

“The License Server was developed to replace USB network keys that we previously had for network users,” notes Carlton Guc, cofounder of Stage Research. “The keys never really worked well, and it seemed that the developer couldn’t tell us how to fix the problems users experienced.
