Uniquely qualified to speak to the successful melding of technology and creativity, Ben Folds is known for both his cutting edge approach to the music industry and for his million-plus selling songs worldwide. These power-users will relate their best practices for their workstation of choice, from track layout, to vocal comping and signal flow.

Beat and Loops: Augmenting Your Recordings with Virtual Instruments – this highly-anticipated workshop, featuring producer/artist/engineer Charles Hayes, who, along with Melvin “Maestro” Lightford will demo different approaches to using beats and loops to augment core tracks.

The Song: From the Heart to the Hard Drive – This panel features GRAMMY-winning artist/producers Ray Kennedy and Gary Nicholson discussing their approach to producing top-notch demos utilizing their own studios and tools as they continue their storied careers working alongside some of the world’s top musicians.

Master Class: Mastering 101 – Mayfield Mastering’s John Mayfield will discuss why mastering is important, mastering basics and how to create more “masterable” mixes.
