Panasonic, Pioneer, Samsung and Sanyo Choose Almo Booth to Show Latest Digital Signage Products; Almo’s Sam Taylor to Kick Off Workshop and Host Lunch & Learns
Philadelphia, PA — February 23, 2010 — This week, Almo Professional A/V (Booth #1413), the nation’s fastest growing audiovisual distributor, will debut as an exhibitor at DSE 2010, Feb. 23-25 in Las Vegas, Nev. Top manufacturers such as Panasonic, Pioneer, Samsung and Sanyo will occupy space within Almo’s exhibit, which is designed to show multiple live digital signage systems. Additionally, Sam Taylor, Almo’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, will be involved in an on-floor workshop about introductory digital signage and conduct a sold-out Lunch & Learn roundtable discussion focused on selling digital signage solutions to existing accounts.
According to Melody Craigmyle, director of marketing for Almo Professional A/V, “Since this is the first time we are exhibiting at DSE, we are flattered that so many of our vendors with digital signage products have chosen to show them exclusively in the Almo booth. She continued, “Along with having representatives from each of these companies available in our booth, Almo’s entire DSCE-certified sales force will be on hand at the show. Craigmyle added that Brian Rhatigan, Almo’s new business development manager, will also be at DSE 2010.
Digital signage displays, services and peripherals from more than 16 different vendors will be shown by Almo Professional A/V. The live digital signage systems will consist of a variety of existing commercial and consumer flat panels, as well as a host of new products, such as the Sanyo PID-42AE1 42″ LCD public information display, the Pioneer BDP-V6000 industrial Blu-ray player and HD-V9000 media player, and the Panasonic 85″ pro plasma display. Almo recently became an authorized distributor of the Panasonic flagship 103″ display.
“Almo Pro A/V is heavily focused on educating partners so, in addition to our booth presence, we will have our Executive Vice President and COO Sam Taylor begin a workshop about the basics of digital signage, said Craigmyle. “He’ll also conduct two Lunch & Learn roundtable discussions about how to find digital signage opportunities with existing customers as opposed to finding new customer bases, which is 75 percent more expensive.
Almo’s event schedule is as follows:
• DSE 2010 On-Floor Workshop: “Intro to Digital Signage for AV Geeks and Integratorsâ€? Wednesday, Feb. 24, 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• DSE 2010 Lunch & Learn: “Systems Integration/Installation: How AV Integrators Can Sell Digital Signage Solutions to Their Existing Accounts
Wednesday, Feb. 24, and encore on Thursday, Feb. 25, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
