John Lockwood Verrex Senior Systems Design Engineer UK

HERTFORD, HERTS UK / March 4, 2010 / — Verrex, a global integrator of audiovisual systems and managed services, today announced John Lockwood, CTS-D has joined its EMEA office, Verrex Limited, as Senior Systems Design Engineer.
Mr. Lockwood will be responsible for designing conferencing, audiovisual and control systems, translating design concepts into detailed project drawings and ensuring the integrity of Verrex designed systems. Mr. Lockwood will report to the company’s EMEA Executive Director, George Massey.

Mr. Lockwood began his career at Anna Valley Electronics Ltd., as Field Engineer later promoted to Technical Manager. He continued to acquire experience in quality assurance and field testing during his tenure with Matsushita Communications as International Technical Support Engineer. As Project Manager and later Production Manager for RSL Audio Visual, Mr. Lockwood was responsible for design ratification, time-critical build management and ISO-based testing strategies. Just prior to joining Verrex Limited, he was responsible for all aspects of complex audiovisual systems design for Pacific Computers.

Mr. Lockwood is a graduate of Southampton Institute of Higher Education and earned the Certified Technology Specialist-Design designation from Infocomm International.
