FOX8 WGHP PURCHASES 16 JVC GY-HM700 PROHD CAMCORDERS FOR LOCAL NEWS

WAYNE, NJ (March 23, 2010) — JVC Professional Products, a division of JVC U.S.A., today announced that WGHP-TV in High Point, N.C., which serves the Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem market (DMA #46), purchased 16 GY-HM700ULL LoLux cameras. Two of the ENG cameras are outfitted with Canon 20x zoom lenses, while 14 are paired with Canon 14x zoom lenses. Owned and operated by Local TV LLC, the FOX affiliate began broadcasting its local FOX8 News in widescreen last September, and is expected to upgrade to a full HD newscast. more
