PESA Announces Strategic Partnership with Avitech International to Offer Router and Multi-Image Technology Solutions

Huntsville, Alabama – April 7, 2010 – PESA, a major provider of reliable and innovative broadcast, professional AV distribution and router transport solutions, and Avitech International Corporation, an industry leader in multi-image display processors, today announced their strategic partnership that will enable customers to exploit the best of both companies’ core strengths. The integrated router / multiviewer solution, co-branded PESA Avitech will be sold and supported through PESA and Avitech International channels.

The foundation of the partnership is to enable system integrators with the widest range of key components for video routing, conversion, signal processing and multi-image display solutions. Customers will be able to leverage PESA’s capabilities of SD/HD-SDI, DVI and VGA conversion gear for coax and fiber optics while managing and controlling the complete environment through an integrated software package.

The multiviewers have been designed to address the challenges of HD monitoring, including support for HD-SDI and SD-SDI inputs and delivering high resolution outputs up to 1920 x 1200 at 50 or 60 Hz, including 1080p. The solution offers an extensive feature set including; input auto-detection, source window sizing and positioning capabilities, full-screen mode allowing users to turn any of the source windows to full screen, ability to cascade modules for large-scale monitoring applications, static / dynamic labels, tally support, and much more.
