Fulcrum Acoustic US212 Subwoofer Now Shipping

Fulcrum Acoustic US212

Fulcrum Acoustic, an audio technology company in the professional sound reinforcement market, has introduced a new addition to their Prophile series, the US212 subwoofer. The US212 was born from Fulcrum’s advanced engineering to produce the smallest direct-radiating dual 12 inch subwoofer enclosure on the market. The US212 is the baby brother to Fulcrum’s US221 dual 21 inch subwoofer that began shipping in Q4 2009.

Measuring 13.8 x 24.0 x 21.0 inches, its compact size is perfect for installations in nightclubs, restaurants, museums and other showcase venues where aesthetically pleasing, high performance professional sound reinforcement products are required. The US212 subwoofer is lightweight (31.3 kg / 69.0 lb), provides high acoustic output relative to its size, and features Fulcrum’s unique low turbulence porting design.

For overhead suspension, fourteen M10 suspension points allow either horizontal or vertical orientation. For ground stacking, the supplied vibration isolators may be threaded into any three M10 mounting points to prevent spurious vibrations and “walking. The specially-selected vibration isolators are constructed of high-compliance neoprene and are much more effective than conventional loudspeaker feet.

The US212 is shipping now, and will be available for listening at Fulcrum’s InfoComm booth #7922.
