Sennheiser Appoints Jake Carter as Product Specialist for Distributed Brands K-Array and HHB
OLD LYME, Conn. – April 21, 2010 – Audio specialist Sennheiser announced that it has appointed Jake Carter to the newly created position of product specialist, distributed brands. Carter, who brings over 20 years of audio experience to his role, will serve as the point person for all technical and product related information for Sennheiser’s distributed brands K-array and HHB.
Carter, who is a native of East Lyme, CT, has a broad background in the audio industry having worked in diverse markets such as professional theatre, commercial recording, installed sound and live sound. He will work within Sennheiser’s Systems Integration team, reporting directly to Dawn Birr, channel manager, Sennheiser systems integration (SI) and distributed brands.
Dawn Birr, commented: “We are very pleased to have Jake as part of our SI team. He brings a tremendous degree of installed sound experience to his new role, having worked in the field across many different audio-related disciplines. As his knowledge of K-array and HHB increases, we will be able to get relevant product information in the hands of our customers with even greater efficiency.”
Carter’s day-to-day activities will include fielding technical inquiries from dealers and end-users, as well as increasing overall sales awareness for K-array and HHB’s entire line of innovative products.
“I am thrilled to be a part of Sennheiser, a company I have admired since I went to high school just miles away from their U.S. headquarters,” commented Jake Carter. “One of my immediate goals is to evangelize K-array’s loudspeaker products in the field, which we consider to be best-in-class and truly revolutionary. Additionally, I hope to help end-users understand the outstanding features and functionality of HHB’s CD recorders.”
Currently, Carter is focused on developing a K-array product-training event, to occur in Austin, TX on April 22nd. The event will cover K-array’s self-powered touring sound systems and installation speaker options, including the Redline KR200s system. The KR200s is an ultra-slim, two-way system designed for use with small to medium wave-front systems in both mobile and installed applications.
