Offering a convenient tabletop connection point for power and data, the Altinex TNP141 is a sharp looking, highly functional solution for facilitating power and Internet/Network access for one’s laptop computer while attending a meeting in the company boardroom. Push down on the front of the top cover and the TNP141’s latching mechanism releases—enabling the pneumatic spring to raise it into position. Simply connect the laptop’s power and network (LAN) cables to the TNP141’s power and RJ-45 ports, and the laptop is ready for business.

The Altinex TNP141C is highly customizable with more than twenty-seven different connector options—all factory-configured and terminated so installations are quick and effortless. By calling Altinex customer service or visiting the company’s website, one is able to select from a variety of connector options such as USB, S-Video, RCA, or BNC. Each connector comes with a 6-foot (2m) cable and is terminated appropriately for quick connections to one’s audio-visual system (wall plate, floor plate, etc.).

The TNP141’s bezel is made from aircraft-grade aluminum milled by craftsman to a fine beveled edge. When mounted into a table, the fine edge minimizes the space where debris might collect—keeping the workspace clean and beautiful. This tighter fit also means less chance for paperwork to catch the TNP141’s edges when being passed across a table—so documents remain clean and professional in appearance. The TNP141’s round bezel makes it easy to rotate the connections to exactly the right placement angle. Clamps located on the bottom of the unit secure the angle quickly and easily, making installations a breeze.
