Designed for manufacturers, consultants, integrators and other industry stakeholders who are involved in paging, fire alarm, life safety, audio evacuation and the variety of codes and standards that support these systems, this interactive session will explore the 2010 code changes and new standards for fire and life safety systems. Topics include:
• General changes from the revised NFPA 72 and discussion of applicable standards;
• Intelligibility requirements and testing procedures;
UL 2572 status and system compliance;
• Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) awareness and acceptance; and
• Training and credentials for industry professionals.
