Sennheiser Introduces Two New Accessories for the WiCOS Digital Wireless Conference System

OLD LYME, Conn. â€“ June 9, 2010: Audio specialist Sennheiser announced that it is introducing two new accessories for the WiCOS digital wireless conference system. The accessories include the L-6 rack-mountable charger and a portable case, which can accommodate up to 12 WiCOS conference units. The new accessories will be featured along with Sennheiser’s new ADN conference system at Las Vegas’ InfoComm 2010.

WiCOS is an advanced, flexible wireless conference system that transmits in both the license-free 2.4 and 5 GHz ranges. The system is driven by Sennheiser’s pioneering RF expertise. Its innovative dynamic frequency management function automatically changes the transmission frequency when it detects potential sources of interference, such as Wi-Fi networks and BluetoothÂ® devices. It also includes encryption options for enhanced security.

With an operating time of more than 20 hours and the ability to integrate up to 16 interpretation channels, WiCOS is the ideal solution for standard discussion systems, as well as demanding conference applications.

WiCOS L-6 Charger
The WiCOS L-6 rack-mountable charger is able to charge up to six WiCOS BA battery packs. It can be mounted and connected to the WiCOS case for easy transport and charging, and up to three units can be daisy chainedâ€”making it extremely flexible.

WiCOS Case
The new WiCOS case is able to accommodate up to 12 conference units, one access point and 12 gooseneck microphones, making it a very convenient storage solution. The case also features a durable set of wheels and handles as well as an integrated power connection and mounts for up to two WiCOS L-6 chargers.
