Orlando, FL—July 22, 2010—Tributaries® Cable, the Florida company that sets the standard for high-performance, high-value accessories and cables for custom home audio and home-theater installations, announces the latest in its growing line of AC line protection devices, the T1A. Designed as an upgrade of the popular T1, the T1A is a single-outlet device providing 540 joules of surge suppression with an added line filtration circuit for clean power.

The T1A is engineered with the X3 MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor), providing the most advanced surge suppression available in a consumer product of its size. This critical single-outlet device is capable of complying with the latest, most difficult surge suppression safety rating: UL 1449 – 3rd Addition.

Designed to physically cover only one receptacle of a dual-outlet pair, the compact size (1 5/8? H X 2 3/16? W x 1 1/4? D) of the T1A, makes it ideal for protecting subwoofers, garage door openers, sprinkler system timers, espresso makers or any other types of household electronics that operate with solid-state electronics.

The T1A features a blue LED indicator light when plugged-in to a live outlet, signaling full protection from the connected component. The Tributaries T1A is now available with an MSRP of $20 each.
