High Demand for Document Management Allows Expansion into New Region

Huntsville, AL – August 16, 2010 – Cabinet NG (CNG), provider of document management and workflow software, today announced it has signed a Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement with Novacc Technology Inc., adding to its list of companies that offer its electronic filing system, CNG-SAFE, as part of a turnkey solution for their SMB client base.

Headquartered in Markham, Ontario, Novacc Technology provides infrastructure and document management products and solutions for the Canadian SMB segment. With twenty two years of experience in network infrastructure and ten years in the document management field, the company targets the manufacturing, mortgage, finance, legal and real estate industries, ensuring that a client’s critical business documents are 100% secure, easy to access and always available.

“Document management is in very high demand in Canada and up until recently most companies felt a document management solution like CNG-SAFE was out of reach,? said Brian Cruickshank, President of Novacc Technology Inc. “Most Canadian companies need document management to help meet government and regulatory compliance issues. Others need a more efficient way to view and share documents between office locations across Canada. CNG-SAFE offers the technology to meet all of these needs. We are very excited about offering this product and building a strong, long term partner relationship with CNG,? he added.

CNG-SAFE is designed to replicate the current paper and/or filing cabinet structure that companies use today. CNG-SAFE makes finding documents extremely easy with a very strong search capability. All documents are stored in their native format (i.e. Word, Excel, PDF, etc.) unlike most other document management programs that convert documents to a propriety format. Feature-rich document management workflow functionality is included in the base product to help businesses automate business processes and improve efficiency. Other areas CNG-SAFE helps companies address include running out of physical space (boxes, filing cabinets, etc.), meeting compliance/security requirements and controlling costs.

“Canadian and US companies see the demand to manage documents from their customers, suppliers and staff. In fact, the method of storing and retrieving documents has not changed in many years for most organizations,? said Andrew Bailey, President, CNG. “Previously, most document management systems were out of reach or didn’t meet the needs of SMB clients, but CNG-SAFE is a solution that companies can easily afford that makes a tremendous difference to their carbon footprint and overall efficiently as they transition to a paperless office.?
