Networked Canon VB-C60 IP Video Cameras Helps The Riverhead Foundation to Monitor Marine Wildlife Rehabilitation, Conduct Research, and Educate the Public

Recent events in the Gulf of Mexico have focused public attention on the importance of protecting the marine environment. More often, however, the work of marine conservationists and biologists goes unnoticed, as much of it – including helping injured marine animals – occurs behind closed doors. The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation (in Riverhead, N.Y.) is helping to change this situation by installing VB-C60 pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) IP video cameras made by Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging. The 395′ wide structure for the Boy Scouts Jamboree

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) celebrated their 100th anniversary during their National Scout Jamboree in Fort AP Hill, VA in late July. Event Tech was tasked with providing all the structures for the three shows presented over the course of one week. The main event was Saturday, July 31st, where over 80,000 people were in attendance for the anniversary celebration that was also broadcast to scout troups across the country and streamed live on the web. more
