Soundcraft Si Series Gets New Feature Set, Showing at PLASA For First Time
The Soundcraft Si Series of mid-range digital consoles receives an upgrade of new customer driven features with the new version 4.0 software development.
Key features include:
• Support for the new Soundcraft Compact Stagebox and Studer D21m I/O.
• Si Consoles can now connect to Vi Stageboxes and control the mic amps.
• Support for a wide range of new option and expansion cards to be announced separately.
• Virtual Si (offline editor) allows configuration of virtual racks.
Speaking of the Si Series, Soundcraft Product Manager Richard Ayres said, “Over the past year the Si range has really established itself as a proven live sound console and is running large and small events in theatres, on tour and in installed applications all over the world. These new features are significant as they not only enable our customers, who have already invested in Si and Vi consoles, a lot more flexibility and interoperability, but also offers connectivity to many other audio and network standards.
