Atlona Technologies(R) to Show Si Line of Digital Connectivity Solutions at CEDIA EXPO 2010

For Home Theater and Light Commercial Systems, Atlona Si Line Offers a Full Range of Products to Save CEDIA Integrators Time in the Field, While Providing a Seamless Installation for End Users

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Sept. 15, 2010 — Atlona Technologies(R) today announced that the company will be showing its Atlona Si (System Integrator) line of digital connectivity solutions for home theater and light commercial A/V systems at CEDIA EXPO 2010. For installers, the Si line is a one-stop shop for a full range of products — including cables, distribution amplifiers, matrix switchers, extenders, converters, scalers, and much more — that address any conceivable issue in the field, while ensuring the best possible end product for their clients.

“To better serve the A/V market, we have segmented our solutions to cater to specific audience needs. Our Atlona CE line is geared toward end users and retail purchasers, while the Signature line is perfectly suitable for large-scale commercial projects. For the CEDIA-certified integrator, we proudly offer our Si line,” said Joshua Carlson, director of public relations, Atlona Technologies.

“The Si line is designed to make installers’ lives easier by giving them one place to find everything they need for simple to even the most complex home theater installations. Whether it’s sending audio and video to more than one display or converting analog video signals to digital HDMI output, our offerings will save installers time in the field while ensuring a seamless installation for their customers. And we have recently bolstered the Si line with 3-D compatibility on many of our units, ensuring they are ready for the next frontier in home entertainment,” added Carlson.

Among the products on display at CEDIA EXPO 2010 will be Atlona’s matrix switchers and the AT-DIS7-HD 7-inch testing monitor. Designed for multiple sources and displays, the company offers a wide variety of switchers, from 2×4 to 16×16 and everything in between. Many include an IR remote control to allow end users to effortlessly switch between sources, or RS-232 to integrate with control and automation systems for the ultimate in convenience and simplified operation.

The award-winning AT-DIS7-HD 7-inch testing monitor is perfectly designed for installers and integrators looking for a simple solution to test cabling and monitor or verify audio and video settings on remotely located displays. This portable monitor recognizes any HDMI or DVI source at resolutions up to 1080p (including computer resolutions), and allows users to observe both audio and video signals in real time. The compact display has been enhanced with new features, including the ability to view signal information such as HDCP compliance, resolution, frequency, digital format, and audio information. In addition, the AT-DIS7-HD reads the EDID HDMI information from any source and stores it for advanced troubleshooting. A truly flexible solution, the unit features multiple control options, including manual as well as IR remote control.

Atlona’s Si line, in addition to many other award-winning products from the company, will be on display at CEDIA EXPO 2010 booth 4722.
