Kramer Employs Industry Veteran Consultant Pete Putman of ROAM Consulting, LLC
Kramer Electronics is pleased to announce it has entered into a formal consulting arrangement with industry veteran and 2008 InfoComm Educator of the Year, Pete Putman of ROAM Consulting LLC.
Pete Putman is the president of ROAM Consulting LLC, a company that provides training, marketing communications, and product testing/development services to manufacturers, dealers, and end-users of direct-view and projection displays, display interfaces, and digital signal processing devices. His clients include Sony, Barco, Panasonic, Sanyo, Mitsubishi, Kramer, Samsung, Sharp, and Epson.
Pete edits and publishes HDTVexpert.com, a ten-year-old Web blog focused on digital TV, display technologies, 3D, and next-generation digital media. He is also a senior contributing editor for Pro AV magazine, the leading trade publication for commercial AV systems integrators.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Seton Hall University, and a Master of Science degree in Television and Film from Syracuse University. He is an InfoComm Senior Academy Instructor for the International Communications Industries Association (ICIA), and was named ICIA’s Educator of the Year for 2008. He is an active member of The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and Society for Information Display (SID). Additionally, Pete also holds industry certifications from InfoComm (CTS-Certified Technology Specialist) and the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF).
