Compix at HD World:

NEW! NewsScroll 4.0
NewsScroll 4.0 software makes it easy to enhance live video with multiple crawls, logos, and more — all with just a single channel. The software’s powerful channel branding features help to boost brand awareness and viewer loyalty while new tools for creating graphics, such as personalized lower-thirds, enable more effective use of on-screen space to engage audiences.

In addition, the newest release of the Compix NewsScroll software package enables simultaneous display of two independent crawls, which can be updated manually or automatically from RSS feeds. Once a refresh rate is set, NewsScroll automatically updates and loads all information for display. The software also features two static or animated logos; a real-time, customizable clock; an interchangeable logo for different programs or specials; and an instant text update field for last-minute additions. A new Cut Mode allows users to insert full- or partial-screen graphics behind other crawls, logos, and text elements.

CynerG2 HD
Compix will showcase its newly enhanced CynerG2 HD at HD World. The broadcast-quality, dual-channel Compix CynerG2 HD, equipped with a new version of Compix GenCG template-based graphics-creation software, is the company’s flagship character generator. Capable of simultaneously outputting graphics in either SD-SDI or HD-SDI, the CynerG2 packs a powerful punch into a conveniently sized 4-RU chassis, providing unrivaled price and performance for the broadcast, sports, professional, educational, and government markets. To give users even greater usability in cost-effective generation of quality broadcast graphics, GenCG 5.0 offers a sizeable array of features including rolls and crawls, more than 250 transitional effects, and user-definable clocks and timers.

Offering HD-SDI, SD-SDI, or analog functionality, the CompactCG is a portable character generator with the specs and rich feature set of a full-size system in a rugged 1-RU chassis — priced with the attractive affordability the industry has come to expect from Compix. The CompactCG HD is ideal for HD channel-branding applications, with software options including NewsScroll with RSS, which provides the power of multiple crawls, logos, a real-time clock, live weather updates, ratings, and live RSS feeds, among other features.
