PESA to present a complete range of media extenders for DVI, HDMI, and VGA to 3G-SDI at Government Video Expo 2010

Huntsville, Alabama – 22 November 2010 – PESA, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and video production industry, will showcase several new products for HDMI to 3G-SDI, DVI-I to 3G-SDI, VGA/Component Video to 3G-SDI and many other new products at the upcoming Government Video Expo 2010, which runs December 1-2 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. (Booth 217).

PESA’s advanced range of media extender solutions interconnect computer and video signals from multiple locations and transport various formats of video and audio over a standard 3G-SDI infrastructure using fiber or coax cable connections. PESA solutions feature SMPTE compliant products that allow easy conversion of VGA, DVI, YPbPr, or component video to a fully functional SMPTE 292M or SMPTE 424M transport packet. Unlike other products, PESA offers the ability to transport serial digital packets over fiber, coax, or both simultaneously, allowing up to four identical paths to be transported at the same time; and they are the only extender models that allow direct network interface for management and control of each module.

PESA’s range of fiber and coax media converter solutions are used extensively by many government organization across the globe and have provided high quality, high-speed transport solutions for the last three decades. PESA’s DVI routing and distribution solutions are used by NASA, the U.S. Army, the Air Force, and many Federal Government facilities across the U.S.
Other products on display include PESA’s Jaguar 64X64 digital routing switcher in only 2RU, the Cougar 32X32 digital routing switcher in only 1RU, an 8X8 DVI Switcher, an 8X8 HDMI Switcher, and our flagship Cheetah 144X144NE DVI/3G Routing Solution for fiber optic interconnects. PESA’s four port Coax-to-Fiber and Fiber-to-Coax product offerings will also be on display.
