Aviom Pro16 Digital Snake Provides Seamless Audio Flow for Rapidly Expanding Family Church of the Southern Tier

JAMESTOWN, NY, NOVEMBER 10, 2010 — Family Church of the Southern Tier, located in Jamestown, NY, recently moved from its original, small sanctuary to a new state-of-the-art worship hall. For the new facility, the church chose Turner Specialty Contractors to install an entirely new audio, video and lighting system featuring an Aviom Pro16® Digital Snake and A-16II Personal Mixers. The new gear has become a great asset for both the sound engineer and house musicians, as the digital snake provides the flexibility and reliability for which Aviom is well known, and the personal mixers provide custom monitor mixes for the performers.

Ecuador’s Top Broadcaster Buys Shotoku Camera Support For Virtual Set

Torrance, CA (28 October 2010) – Shotoku Broadcast Systems, a leading international manufacturer of advanced camera support products, recently delivered a set of the Company’s new, lightweight virtual systems to Corporacion Ecuatoriana de Televisión in Quito, Ecuador. Shotoku Inc.’s president, Naoki Ebimoto, made the announcement from the Company’s US headquarters in Torrance, CA.

Ecuavisa, as it is commonly known, began broadcasting in 1967 and is the South American nation’s largest network with stations in both the capital city, Quito and in Guayaquil. The Shotoku systems were specified through local integrator ANXI Compania, Ltd. as part of a system with Virtual Studio technology from Vizrt. The package, installed in late July, is being configured and tested while its operators are trained.

TV One Replaces Aging Advertising Traffic System with Broadway Systems End-to-End Software Platform

Grand Rapids, Mich. – Broadway Systems, the leading provider of advertising management software for cable networks, announced today that TV One is using Broadway’s end-to-end software platform to manage program scheduling, advertising sales, and traffic and billing. The cable network, which is available in more than 50.4 million households and targets African American adult viewers, went live with the system in late September.

With Broadway’s Sales Planning and Proposal, Traffic and Billing, and Program Management software modules, TV One now has a single solution. As part of the implementation, Broadway also integrated with StorerTV’s SIMS program management software using a BXF interface, and interfaced with the Comcast Media Center’s on-air automation systems.
