TAMPA, Fla. Dec. 1, 2010 – AVI-SPL, a leading provider of audio video communications solutions, is pleased to welcome the addition of two new Education Market Managers to the company.

Ron Martinez

The Los Angeles office recently added new Education Market Manager Ron Martinez to the team. Martinez will focus on building relationships with educational and house of worship institutions in order to provide audio video solutions. Martinez previously worked for AVI-SPL back in 2006 and has more than 10 years of industry experience. Martinez most recently worked for Anderson Video as a sales engineer.

AVI-SPL also added new Education Market Manager Jennifer Smeaton to the Dallas office. Smeaton will work with K-12 schools to create technology and audiovisual solutions specific to their needs. Smeaton brings exceptional experience to this position as she was previously a teacher and coach for Arlington Independent School District. Jennifer is certified to teach grades K-8, technology applications and is also ESL certified. Additionally, she is a SMART Certified Notebook and Response Trainer.
