Stefan Happe Joins Soundcraft Studer
Stefan Happe has joined HARMAN to run the Studer Customer Service team based in Regensdorf, near Zurich, Switzerland.
With experience in recording and broadcast (he started his audio life as a recording and mastering engineer) and live sound (running a PA rental company which included Soundcraft consoles in its inventory), he spent several years with, Mackie based in Germany as product manager in the boadcast market and more recently in the UK to head up European Service and Support.
Happe says, “The name Studer has always stood for highest quality–it was always my goal as a mastering engineer to work with and own Studer products. Later in my career as I moved into audio distribution and manufacturing, the Studer brand was the name I used to rank others in terms of quality and success. It’s a thrill now to be here and be working with these products and our customers every day.â€?
Head of HARMAN’s Mixer business, Andy Trott (Vice President & General Manager, Mixing and Microphones & Headphones) adds, “Stefan’s enthusiasm exemplifies the spirit of our business. People just love working in this exciting industry with many of the best products on the market. This spirit and Stefan’s experience and style will, I am confident, be a great hit with our customers.
