NuVo Technologies Begins Shipping Music Port Elite

Hebron, KY – December 01, 2010 – NuVo Technologies has announced they have started shipping their Music Port Elite, the company’s most anticipated source component and recent winner of a CEPro Best Award during CEDIA Expo.

The Music Port Elite (MPS4-E), like its popular sister product the Music Port (MPS4) which began shipping earlier this year, consolidates, organizes, stores and distributes Internet and PC-based audio content from Windows Media Player and iTunes, while also accessing streaming audio from a variety of Internet services, all in one compact component that offers four simultaneous audio outputs. Elite offers the additional features of:

– Cloud synchronization function allowing a user’s library of audio content to be readily available from multiple locations.
– Streaming content directly from network-attached storage creating infinite capacity.
– Scheduling ability so that selected music can play at a pre-arranged day/time.
– IP control protocol that enables pre-built Crestron, AMX, and URC control integration.

The Music Port Elite gives the homeowner a single, all-inclusive component that gains access to music libraries from a wide variety of sources including music stored on networked computers, free and subscription Internet-based sources like Pandora, Sirius/XM and the 100,000 plus RadioTime stations, and Cloud-based music libraries. The MPS4-E expands the homeowner’s options far beyond what’s loaded on their iPod® and introduces them to an integrated world of audio choices that combines multiple digital content services and their personal repositories into one single access point for making content more accessible, even beyond their home. The Music Port Elite makes whole home audio more versatile, flexible, functional and modern than ever before.

The Music Port Elite is compatible with NuVo’s Grand Concerto, Renovia and Essentia E6G systems, as well as with third party systems. It is priced at $3,499 MSRP. The Music Port Elite and NuVo’s entire product line are sold and installed only by authorized NuVo Technologies’ dealers.
