ESCO Communications Upgrades Audio System at University of Notre Dame Purcell Pavilion With JBL Loudspeakers
As part of a $24.7 million renovation to the home of University of Notre Dame basketball and volleyball, ESCO Communications, Inc. recently completed a JBL loudspeaker system installation in the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center in South Bend, Indiana. The nearly 10,000-seat arena, which opened its doors in 1968, is now a state-of-the-art facility for all of the student-athletes and fans to enjoy.
ESCO installed 16 JBL PD5322/95 full-range loudspeakers, eight PD5125 low-frequency loudspeakers and 12 ASB6128 high-power subwoofers for the main system, with five AC18 2-way loudspeakers for club level seating, eight AM5212/64 2-way loudspeakers and an additional four AC18’s for the scoreboard and VRX928 small-scale constant curvature line array loudspeakers for various performances.
