AVI-SPL’s Alyson Seeger Joins Glazer Children’s Museum Board of Directors
AVI-SPL, a leading provider of audio video communications solutions, is pleased to announce Alyson Seeger has joined Glazer Children’s Museum’s board of directors.
As a board member, Seeger’s key objective will be to help raise awareness and funds for the privately funded 501 (c) 3 museum. Seeger joined AVI-SPL’s systems engineering department in a sales capacity in 1989. Over the years she has held several management positions and currently leads a sales team of eight for the Tampa to Naples territory. On top of developing her sales team, she focuses involvement in the community.

Nestled in Downtown Tampa, Glazer Children’s Museum opened its doors to the public on September 25th, 2010, providing a safe and playful environment where children and adults can learn about themselves, each other, and the world around them through. The 53,000 square foot museum includes 12 themed areas including 170 ‘Interactivities’ that are accessible, bilingual, safe and interactive.
Named after the Glazer Family Foundation for their lead gift of $5 million, construction of the museum building began in March 2009 and was completed in April 2010. The museum was designed by the architecture team GouldEvans and the construction manager for the project was DeLotto and Sons, Inc.
