Camber Wins Prime Contract Supporting the Marine Corps

Huntsville, AL.— January 11, 2011— Camber Corporation has won a coveted prime position serving the US Marine Corps Systems Command in the FY2011 Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services (CEOss) competition. The CEOss contract vehicle organizes leading industry primes along engineering, logistics, and administrative domains to provide a full range of support services to Marine, Navy, Joint, and other federal customers. Camber won a prime position in the Engineering and Scientific Domain and will lead a team of 22 companies in designing and delivering engineering solutions across the breadth of advanced technology, training, test, and documentation requirements.
“This contract win positions Camber Corporation to provide new levels of service to the Marine Corps and an extra measure of engineering support among our existing Navy, Army, Air Force and Joint customers,? said Joe Alexander, Camber Corporation President. “We have seen particular synergy between some of the aviation and combat vehicle work we’re performing for other customers, and are especially encouraged to bring some of that technical expertise to our team and our nation’s Marines. This is a valued win from every perspective – the Warfighter, Acquisition Command, and larger Defense Department team – and a vote of trust and confidence we’ll strive daily to earn and maintain.?
Team Camber consists of an impressive array of defense industry research, development, and production providers. Each company participates in technical task order evaluations and assumes an active role in building and maintaining the Camber CEOss team. The collective team effort ensures the immediate availability of leading technical skills tailored to the engineering and scientific needs of US Marine and other supported Warfighters.
