DK-Technologies Announces Free Upgrade to EBU R128

Audio and video metering company DK-Technologies is offering all customers with a MSD or PT0 600 series audio meter a free software update to enable them to use the new EBU R128 Loudness Recommendation as well as the ITU BS1770/1771 and ATSC recommendations.

All new meters will automatically have both specifications included, allowing customers access to use both recommendations.

AURALEX HELPS AMERICAN ROCKERS,COLLECTIVE SOUL, ACHIEVE TOTAL ACOUSTICAL HARMONY

Clay Paky Fixtures and grandMA2 Consoles To Be Showcased in Open House at Mid-America Sound on February 3

Mid-America Sound Corporation, one of the largest full-service concert and event production companies in the Midwest, and A.C.T Lighting will present an open house featuring Clay Paky automated fixtures and MA Lighting grandMA2 consoles on February 3 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Mid-America will host the open house at its Greenfield, Indiana headquarters where Clay Paky Alpha 1500 and 700 series fixtures and the new Sharpy fixture will be showcased alongside a complete range of grandMA2s, both full size and Light.

Rio Rancho, NM – WNAMM booth # 6329, Hall A… Lectrosonics, recognized the world over as a leading manufacturer of wireless microphone systems and audio processing products, is pleased to introduce the Quadra digital wireless monitor (IEM) system at Winter NAMM. Consisting of the M4R belt-pack diversity receiver and the M4T half-rack transmitter, the new Quadra system features digital RF modulation, two or four channels of 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio, analog or digital inputs, and a unique mixing interface for users. The Quadra system operates in the license-free ISM (industrial, scientific, and medical) band between 902-928 MHz and has a throughput latency of 1 ms for the analog inputs and <0.5 ms for the digital inputs. more

Intelix Discontinues Mic Mixers; Expands Digital Offerings

Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, announced plans to discontinue their mic/line mixing product line effective March 1, 2011. The move comes after announcing 40% growth in 2010, including strong gains in the digital signage and digital AV routing markets.
