ADVANCED SYSTEMS GROUP PRESENTS LIVE STREAMING WORKFLOW EVENT
EMERYVILLE, CALIF. – Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a leading West Coast video and film integration firm, will present the ASG Live Streaming Workflow Event on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at the South San Francisco Conference Center at 255 South Airport Blvd. The free workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include presentations from streaming media industry vendors. “Streaming offers a new world of opportunities for content distribution and revenue generation, but many video professionals don’t have a clear understanding of the technology behind it, said Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. “We’ve designed this workshop to help attendees decide what platforms are best for their target markets and show how they can start delivering video content to computers, tablets, and smart phones around the world.
The event will include general discussions about streaming video technology, as well as specific presentations on important workflow components. NewTek will demonstrate video capture and live production, while Elemental Technologies will explain encoding audio and video for delivery to multiple platforms.
