QVC Italy Goes Live With Shotoku Broadcast Systems Robotic Control Camera System


Staines, UK (10 February 2011) – QVC Italy, the latest launch of QVC, Inc. – one of the world’s largest multimedia retailers – has gone on air from new studios in Milan with a sophisticated 11-channel robotic control camera configuration from Shotoku Broadcast Systems. James Eddershaw, Shotoku’s sales director, announced the Company’s significant participation in the project from European headquarters in Staines, UK.

The two network-capable receivers support streaming PC audio and Internet radio, and provide compatibility with Windows® 7 and DLNA. The Internet connection greatly simplifies the process of providing future updates to the receiver’s firmware. These networking models can also take advantage of Onkyo’s free Remote App for iPod/iPhone to control the A/V receiver.

Three Byte Intermedia Controls a Room Full of Apple iPads at the Infiniti Leadership Summit



Working with luxury car manufacturer Infiniti, brand-leadership expert AMCI sought out Three Byte Intermedia, a custom software studio specializing in innovative AV solutions, to develop a unique personal presentation and interaction platform based on Apple iPads. The challenge: The iPads would be given to 100 people at a time from Infiniti franchise dealerships across the U.S. who were attending the Infiniti Leadership Summit.

Designed to focus renewed enthusiasm on Infiniti’s brand presence, the Summit rallied dealers to an enhanced customer experience promise. AMCI wanted to use iPads throughout the presentations to demonstrate the streamlined, technology-enabled experience they expect dealers to present and emulate.

C-nario and CTV Complete Digital Signage Network at Israel Discount Bank

Tel Aviv, Israel, February 11, 2011 – C-nario, a global provider of digital signage software solutions, and CTV, a leading integrator of digital signage and media management, today announced that they have completed a country-wide digital signage network at Israel Discount Bank, Israel’s third largest bank. The network is based on C-nario Messenger, C-nario’s flagship digital signage platform.

The new network is C-nario and CTV’s largest joint project in the banking industry. Previously, both companies collaborated on a digital signage project at Israel Mercantile Bank.

The network includes the bank’s headquarters and 140 branches. Each branch has between 1-6 screens, and may receive various combinations of video and audio channels, based on its location and various other criteria. The Network Operations Center (NOC) is operated by CTV and is located at CTV’s headquarters.
