Loudness Sonorizacao of Sao Paulo, Brazil, one of Brazil’s leading concert audio suppliers, recently provided a large, multi-array JBL VERTEC® line array system for legendary rock band Rush at an outdoor show in Rio de Janeiro. The concert was part of Rush’s “Time Machine Tour� and was held at the Praca de Apoteose (Apotheosis Square) venue, famous as a staging site for Rio’s legendary Carnival.

Rush’s “Time Machine Tour� embarked in July 2010 and is expected to continue through the end of 2011. For the tour, Rush is playing its album Moving Pictures in its entirety for the first time ever. The concerts on the tour also include selections from Rush’s upcoming album, Clockwork Angels, while also featuring performances of Rush’s most popular songs, including “Tom Sawyer,� “Closer to the Heart� and “Limelight.�

A pair of grandMA2 light’s made their debut at the 2011 pageant, which was telecast live on ABC from the Planet Hollywood casino-resort in Las Vegas.
