SENSIO at the 2011 NAB Show
In 2010, 3D broadcasting went from possibility to reality and SENSIO Technologies was there every step of the way. A major milestone was the 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM), broadcast in live 3D and brought to 33 countries through SENSIO technology. Judged “Best 3D TV Technology or Project” by Cable and Satellite International (CSI), SENSIO(R) Hi-Fi 3D, the flagship 3D-enabling product line, was adopted by major TV manufacturers and cable TV distributors this past year.

At the 2011 NAB Show, SENSIO — ever-mindful of the economic and resource constraints facing equipment manufacturers today — will be presenting a newly expanded offering that specifically addresses the broadcast industry’s concerns about image quality and compatibility in 3D, right down the line. The company will be demonstrating its end-to-end solution in partners’ equipment, and will be present at the Miranda Technologies booth N2515 in the North Hall.

Company Quote:
“Our recent acquisition of Algolith’s best-in-class format-conversion and noise-reduction technologies enables us to offer targeted responses to both the technical and business needs of our clients,” said Nicholas Routhier, SENSIO President and CEO. “These, in turn, represent significant value-added for our clients’ clients, coming together in a complete solution for producing superior-quality 3D video.”

Company Overview
Founded in 1999, SENSIO Technologies Inc. (www.sensio.tv) is a pioneer in the 3D industry. Its vision, expertise, and state-of-the-art solutions, based on diversified stereoscopic image-processing technologies, have been trusted by some of the biggest names in the broadcasting and consumer electronics sectors, as well as for live 3D events in cinemas, to power numerous industry firsts, initiate new business models, and generate immediate revenue with a distinctive 3D offering.

SENSIO enables its clients to deliver the best possible 3D experience for the end-user through a broad portfolio of licensed products, based on quality, content, usability, and compatibility. These include its flagship, award-winning technology, SENSIO(R) Hi-Fi 3D, the premium-quality frame-compatible format.

SENSIO’s technologies are the object of patents and intellectual property protection proceedings worldwide. SENSIO is listed on the Toronto TSX Venture Exchange (SIO).

SENSIO(R) is a registered trademark of SENSIO Technologies Inc.
