ADVANCED SYSTEMS GROUP OFFERS ‘LUNCH & LEARN’ SEMINAR ON HIGH PERFORMANCE SAN SYSTEMS AND ARCHIVES

EMERYVILLE, CALIF. – Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a leading West Coast video and film integration firm, will present an ASG Lunch & Learn seminar focused on high performance storage area networks (SANs) and archives on Thursday, March 10, 2011. The free seminar, “Need High Performance, Scalable, Flexible Workflows with Efficient Archiving? runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Morton’s The Steakhouse at 400 Post St. in San Francisco. Lunch will be served, and all attendees will be included in a drawing to win an Apple iPad.

The one-hour morning session will explain how a SAN file system provides file creation, storage, and sharing. After lunch, the discussion will concentrate on how data management software can simplify archiving. Both sessions will include recommendations on how attendees can implement their own strategies for data lifecycle management.

“A combined strategy of using a Quantum StorNext SAN file system and data management software allows you to seamlessly archive data and have it available when you need it, said Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. “Our free seminar will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about real-world applications from an experienced field engineer.

Space is limited for the ASG Lunch & Learn seminar. Reserve your seat at www.asgllc.com/events.html, or call (510) 654-8300 or e-mail rsvp@asgllc.com for more information.
