Travel Channel Moves Forward with Broadway Systems for Ad Sales Operations
Grand Rapids, Mich. – Broadway Systems, the leading provider of advertising management software for cable networks, announced today that Scripps Networks is using Broadway’s end-to-end software platform to help manage program scheduling, advertising sales, traffic, and billing for Travel Channel. The cable network went live with Broadway last March.
“Because Scripps already used Broadway to help manage these systems and processes at all their other cable networks, they wanted that same platform for Travel Channel, said John Sorensen, president of Broadway Systems. “Within a limited window of time, we were able to provide Scripps with an efficient migration path for Travel Channel’s operations.
Broadway worked with Scripps to convert the historical and operational data from two different systems to the Broadway platform. As part of the project, Broadway created a series of tools to assist with Travel Channel’s data migration, which began in late 2009.
