EMERYVILLE, CALIF. – Bonfire Labs, a motion design agency and production studio in San Francisco, conducted a major upgrade of its infrastructure last summer. Most of the project was completed in house, but when it came time to upgrade software on its Quantum StorNext storage area network (SAN), Bonfire Labs turned to Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a leading West Coast video and film integration firm.

With a staff of 20 people supplemented by a team of freelancers, Bonfire’s creative team relies on Mac Pro workstations equipped with Adobe Creative Suite 5, Apple Final Cut Pro, Autodesk Maya, The Foundry’s NUKE, and MAXON CINEMA 4D. High Resolution Systems LLC has introduced a new software release for its Universal Device Controller (UDC). UDC 3.2.2 includes numerous new features and improvements to enhance the user experience.

“We have been listening to our customers and, as a result, have added a lot of new features to UDC 3.2.2, improved existing functionality and upgraded some of the user interface,” says sales engineer Drew Taylor.

UDC 3.2.2 now supports the new UDC-210 21-button panel controller for UDC software and offers additional button colors; new font colors for buttons; and Context Menus to add and remove buttons, add and remove image, and add and remove background image.
