A.C.T Lighting Exhibits Wireless Solution’s W-DMX G4 At USITT Stage Expo 2011

A.C.T Lighting will be exhibiting Wireless Solution’s W-DMX G4 in Booth #230 at the USITT Stage Expo 2011 held March 10-12 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina. Wireless Solution Sweden AB is the world’s leading manufacturer of wireless lighting control equipment with over 60,000 units sold worldwide and over 35 OEM partners; A.C.T Lighting distributes W-DMX in North America.

Wireless Solution’s W-DMX range of products is the consistent choice of top professionals in the lighting industry. It is the only company to offer dual-band 2.4 and 5.8GHz with legally licensed RDM and adaptive frequency hopping in both OEM single PCB or Standard Tranceivers with FLEX function to change a unit to be both transmitter and receiver. The W-DMX G4 BlackBox F-1 comes standard with RDM. All F-Models are both transmitters and receivers and offer a full FLEX with optional anything in/anything out (for example: DMX in, Art-Net out or s/ACN in, DMX out).

A.C.T Lighting believes that RDM furthers lighting technology, opens up new opportunities and makes the G4 even stronger – points the company is eager to share with Stage Expo visitors.

“The addition of RDM to Wireless Solution’s award-winning W-DMX products makes them an even more powerful tool for the lighting technician,” says A.C.T Lighting’s executive vice president Ben Saltzman. “We are excited to bring this capability to our large user base. Adding RDM to W-DMX’s roster of features continues to position Wireless Solution as the world leader in wireless and gives more flexibility and control to lighting technicians.”

Wireless Solution’s W-DMX has been hailed as the best wireless OEM solution. It has been used for lighting major events, including the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the Nobel Prize banquet, the Berlin Wall 20th anniversary, the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 and many more.
