Atlona Selects Slamco/SDI as Northern Midwest Manufacturer’s Representative and Distributor for Si Line of Digital Connectivity Solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — March 17, 2011 — Atlona Technologies(R) today announced that it has selected Slamco/SDI (Solutions Development, Inc.) as the manufacturer’s rep and distributor for the company’s systems integration (Si) line of digital connectivity solutions in the northern Midwest of the United States. Under the agreement, Slamco will act as an extension of Atlona’s sales and marketing forces to promote the Si line in the residential and light commercial A/V channel, while SDI will provide distribution support throughout the northern Midwest region.

Headquartered in Chanhassen, Minn., Slamco is a full-service sales and marketing organization, offering unparalleled hands-on training and servicing options in an effort to deliver more profitable solutions for its partners. SDI was founded as a sister company to complement Slamco in 2006, delivering “just in time” inventory for electronic systems contractors. Together Slamco/SDI represent some of the most reliable and innovative products and technologies on the market today, including A/V systems, lighting control, A/V switchers, home automation systems, connectors, and accessories.

“We are very excited to add Atlona to our product lineup, and are looking forward to a successful partnership,” said Steve “Slammer” Stamy, president and founder of Slamco/SDI. “The Si line is specifically designed to meet the needs of CEDIA-certified integrators, providing them with a wide range of innovative and adequately priced digital connectivity solutions. Representing the Si line provides us with the perfect opportunity to better serve our existing customers, while expanding our customer base.”

“Slamco/SDI represents an extensive line of high-quality A/V products, complemented by a motivated, dedicated, and educated sales staff and a proactive approach,” said Ilya Khayn, president of Atlona Technologies. “Slamco/SDI has a deep understanding of the benefits our products provide to the professional A/V market, and a well-earned reputation for excellence — exactly the type of partner we want representing our Si line of digital connectivity solutions.”

For installers of home theater and light commercial A/V systems, the Si line the best source for a full range of products — including cables, distribution amplifiers, matrix switchers, extenders, converters, scalers, and much more — that address any conceivable issue in the field while ensuring the best possible end product for their clients.
