E4 Product Launch Preview: NEC PA600X
Rich McPherson, NEC’s senior product manager for projectors is talking ease of maintenence and NEC’s new two-stage filter system. Incorporated into portable projectors since last October, this new filter system makes its installation projector debut ib the E4 AV Tour next month with the first public showing of the new PA600X projector. The PA600X is part of a range of new PA projectors, NEC’s premiere line of installation projectors. “We threw every type of feature in that we think installation companies or companies would need.” McPherson says, and you can read more about the feature set here. “But regardless of the product category, what we hear from customers is the importance of maintenence.” McPherson says the new filter requires no cleaning in most environments and is designed to time out with the lamps–a new filter ships free with replacement lamps, McPherson says. Ask to see the filter for yourself at E4, April 6th in San Francisco, or April 21st in Dallas.
